1. Member/Manager A person may be eligible to become a Member/Manager after three month as a Working Member I or Working Member II. A candidate must have demonstrated reliability, honesty and a desire to see the gallery grow and prosper. Eligibility is judged by current Member/Managers and membership is by their invitation and approval. Become a Member/Manager of Tomé Art Gallery, LLC. Working in concert, Member/Managers plan Gallery activities, make decisions regarding the Gallery and manage Gallery operations. Accept responsibility for coordinating or assisting significantly with one vital Gallery management area. (Classes, shows, treasury, membership, advertising, maintanance, public relations, grounds-keeping, curating.) Work in the Gallery as many days per month as necessary, in rotation with other Member/Managers to ensure the Gallery is open daily. Contribute the annual membership fee and monthly dues for maintanance, rent, utilities, phone, etc. Attend monthly meetings. Receive 80% sales. Pay $15.00 per month toward Gallery expenses. Member/Managers are owners of the Gallery and receive an appropriate percentage of sales and share profits or losses at the end of the year and have voting rights. 2. Working Member I Responsibilities: To work a minimum of three days per month, either in the Gallery or in some capacity for the benefit of the Gallery to be determined by the Member/managers; Benefits: The Members will receive 70% of their sales and will have the opportunity to have a one- or two-person show at the Gallery to last two to thirty days in duration. 3. Working Member II Responsibilities: To work a minimum of two days per month, either in the Gallery or in some capacity for the benefit of the Gallery to be determined by the Member/managers; Benefits: The Members will receive 60% of their sales and will have the opportunity to have a one- or two-person show at the Gallery to last two to thirty days in duration. 4. Financial Member: Responsibilities: To pay $30 per month for the expenses outlined in the Member/Manager category above. Benefits: Financial Members will receive 60% of their sales and will have the opportunity to have a one- or two-person show at the Gallery to last two to thirty days in duration. 5. Consignment Member: Responsibilities: A consignment member will have no duties other than to deliver their juried work to the Gallery and to replace inventory as needed. Benefits: A consignment member will receive 50% of their sales and will have the opportunity to be in a one- or two-person show at the Gallery for two to thirty days duration. 6. Consignment Member - Author/Entertainer: Responsibilities: A consignment member - author/entertainer, will have no duties other than to deliver their juried work to the Gallery and to replace inventory as needed. Benefits: Because of the uniquely high expenses of publication and recording, resulting in the relatively low profit in the sale of an individual book or CD, authors and recording entertainers will receive 75% of their sales as adequate compensation for their work. A consignment member - author/entertainer, will have the opportunity to be in a one- or two-person show at the Gallery for two to thirty days duration. 7. Business Patron Member: Responsibilities: To contribute a specified dollar amount annually, and to provide space, if appropriate, for display of Tomé artists' work at the Patron’s site. Benefits: The Business Patron Member
will be mentioned on any printed material generated by Tomé Gallery,
such as reception announces, show announcements, print ads and web site.
